Främja vetenskaplig forskning

Per Skårmans Stiftelse provides grants for scientific research in the fields of technology and medicine. The foundation supports both basic and specialized research, and grants can be awarded to individual researchers, research groups, institutions, or organizations. According to the founder's statutes, the research must be publicly disseminated to be considered of public benefit. Research must be affiliated with universities, colleges, or equivalent institutions. Grants are not provided for undergraduate research and must support research after completion of an academic degree at master's level or higher. Currently, the foundation is supporting a three-year research project at Karolinska Institutet with a substantial amount, which limits their ability to support additional large research projects at this time.
