About this opportunity

The Frohlich World Bank Travel Grant provides financial support for an ANU law student to pursue a supervised six-month internship with the Special Litigation Unit at the World Bank's headquarters in Washington DC, United States. The recipient will work under the guidance of the Head of the Special Litigation Unit and individual lawyers, drafting legal documents, reviewing investigative reports, and assisting with specific legal issues related to fraud and corruption in World Bank financial resources. The award is valued at $35,000 and is paid as a one-off instalment to assist with airfares, accommodation, and day-to-day living expenses during the unpaid internship. The program runs from July to December 2026, and successful applicants are required to defer their ANU studies for a semester. Funding has been provided by the Frohlich Endowment in Law.
