About this opportunity
The Fulbright Graduate Student Program to Norway provides opportunities for U.S. graduate students to pursue full-time study or a combination of independent research and advanced courses or seminars in Norway. Applications are considered from well-qualified candidates in all fields. Fulbright grantees pursuing master's degrees at public institutions in Norway are exempt from paying tuition. The program supports approximately 15 grants per year for an academic year duration, generally mid-August through mid-June. Students are encouraged to contact Norwegian institutions, programs, or professors of their choice, and it is advantageous to include an evaluation or comment from a Norwegian professor indicating their interest in the project and potential advising role. Knowledge of Norwegian is advantageous but not required, as many subjects are available in English and most universities offer Norwegian courses for foreign students.
