About this opportunity
The traditional Fulbright Scholar Program sends 800 U.S. faculty and professionals abroad each year for lecturing and research in a wide variety of academic and professional fields. The U.S.-Norway Fulbright Foundation offers eight to ten awards annually for lecturing, lecturing/research, or research for US scholars coming to Norway. Approximately four of these are in the All Disciplines category, meaning that applications in any discipline will be considered. These awards allow candidates to propose their own lecturing or research projects and institutional affiliations. Specified awards are formulated by Norwegian academic institutions in close cooperation with the Foundation. The program is sponsored by the United States Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.
