Full ADOPT Grant Round 6

The Full ADOPT Grant Round 6 is part of the Farming Innovation Programme delivered by Defra in partnership with Innovate UK. This funding opportunity provides up to £5 million for on-farm trials and farm experiment projects across England. The aim is to support innovative, on-farm trials or experiments to test ideas or solutions that will address major on-farm or immediate post farmgate challenges or opportunities. Projects must demonstrate potential to significantly improve productivity, resilience, sustainability and progression towards net zero farming. The lead applicant must be a farming, growing or forestry business based in England and must collaborate with at least one other UK farmer, grower or forester. Projects must demonstrate benefits to other English farmers, growers or foresters and embrace open innovation principles by sharing results. A Project Facilitator from the ADOPT Innovate UK Business Connect database must be part of the project team. Projects must have total costs between £50,000 and £100,000, last between 6 and 24 months, and can receive up to 80% funding coverage depending on location and business type.
