Fund for Education Abroad Rainbow Scholarship

The Fund for Education Abroad Rainbow Scholarship is awarded to deserving LGBTQI students who aim to participate in high-quality, rigorous education abroad programs. This scholarship supports undergraduate students who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents planning to study abroad for a minimum of 4 weeks. The scholarship is made possible through the generous support of international education professionals who are committed to advocating on behalf of LGBTQI students. These professionals counsel international and study abroad LGBTQI students, support their LGBTQI colleagues in the field, and collaborate through groups created with the support of NAFSA and the Forum for Education Abroad. Recipients are expected to support education abroad in their campus community through work with the FEA and their campus education abroad staff upon return.
