About this opportunity

The FUNED Scholarship is a partnership programme between the Hertie School and Fundación Mexicana para la Educación, la Tecnología y la Ciencia (FUNED), a non-profit organisation supporting Mexican students pursuing studies abroad. The scholarship offers substantial tuition fee reductions for Mexican students enrolled in the Master of Public Policy (MPP), Master of International Affairs (MIA), Master of Data Science for Public Policy (MDS), or Executive Master of Public Administration (Executive MPA) programmes at the Hertie School in Berlin, Germany. Eligible students can receive partial scholarships covering either 50% or 25% of tuition fees. Three partial scholarships worth 50% of tuition and up to 15 additional scholarships worth 25% of tuition are available. Applicants must be Mexican nationals funded by FUNED with at least one year of professional experience who wish to pursue graduate studies in public policy, data science, international affairs, or public administration.

Review process

Applicants first submit a standard application to their chosen programme. Upon receiving an admission offer, they complete a funding application indicating FUNED partnership. Students must also apply separately to FUNED within their application window.
