About this opportunity
The Future Leaders in Quantum Computing PhD Scholarship is designed to support outstanding PhD scholars who are highly motivated to drive groundbreaking advancements in quantum computing. These Scholarships are funded by the Australian Research Council (ARC) Training Centre for Future Leaders in Quantum Computing (FLiQC), in partnership with Sydney Quantum Academy (SQA). The program is co-designed with leading quantum experts and industry partners to transform research into real-world impact. Recipients will participate in industry-based placements with industry partners related to the student's area of research, along with a professional development program. Applicants must undertake research supervised by one of the Chief Investigators of FLiQC in one of the Centre's project areas of devices, architectures, and algorithms for quantum computing. The scholarship provides a stipend allowance worth A$41,753 per annum (2025 rate) pro rata for up to 4 years, subject to satisfactory academic performance.
