FYS - Fria Yrkesutövares Fond

FYS-fonden (Fria Yrkesutövares Stödfond) is a scholarship fund for licensed physiotherapists who are self-employed/entrepreneurs and business members of Fysioterapeuterna. The fund provides financial support in multiple areas. Primarily, it offers assistance in cases of illness, inability to work, or other exceptional situations where genuine need exists. Additionally, the fund supports costs related to continuing education, participation in scientific gatherings such as conferences, symposia, and workshops (with priority given to already accepted contributions), study trips and visits related to research and development work, and expenses associated with research and development activities within the field of physiotherapy. All scholarships are tax-free and are distributed directly to recipients. The average award amount is approximately 5,000 SEK per person.
