G. Murray & Hazel Hagerman Scholarships at AVC

The G. Murray & Hazel Hagerman Scholarships at AVC provide funding for veterinary medicine students and graduate students. One full year tuition scholarship is awarded to a graduate student enrolled in the MSc program at the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC). The remainder of the funds are divided among the top two Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) students in each of the first-, second-, and third-year classes from the previous year. This scholarship fund was realized through an estate gift from Verna Hagerman in 1991. The scholarships were named as a memorial to her father, G. Murray Hagerman and her sister, Hazel Hagerman.
