The G & N Janse Award in Medicine is awarded to a resident physician with satisfactory academic standing in any year of a postgraduate medical program. Selection is based on academic standing and demonstrated research in Alzheimer's and/or Parkinson's disease. This award is funded annually by the G & N Janse Fund at the Edmonton Community Foundation and is administered through the University of Alberta's Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry.
