G. Stewart MacKay Scholarship

The G. Stewart MacKay Scholarship is awarded to a full-time student who maintains an academic standing of 75%, with preference given to a student involved or interested in university affairs, including athletics or student politics. This scholarship was established by a bequest to the University of Prince Edward Island from the Estate of Mr. G. Stewart MacKay to support the educational, athletic and leadership development of students. Mr. MacKay made a significant contribution to community business life in his many years as an entrepreneur and realtor. The G. Stewart MacKay Scholarships are intended to enable aspiring students, particularly those who may be single parents, mature students or graduate students, to continue their studies.
