About This Opportunity

The Gadigal Accommodation Scholarship subsidises the cost of University-owned accommodation for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students at the University of Sydney. The scholarship covers accommodation costs for 52 weeks, with recipients required to pay only $50 per week towards their accommodation. The scholarship is designed to provide financial support for Indigenous students to live on campus at University-owned accommodation while completing their studies. The scholarship duration is one year, and students must reapply annually if they require additional years of accommodation support. Recipients must engage with the Gadigal Centre and participate in the Mentoring our Brothers and Sisters (MOBS) Program, as well as engage with the Indigenous Tutorial Assistance Scheme (ITAS) during their first year.
