About this opportunity
The Gail E Donne Scholarship in Biomedical Science (Laboratory Medicine) has been established in memory of Gail Elizabeth Mangion (nee Donne) who was an alumna of RMIT graduating in Biomedical Science (Laboratory Medicine) in 1969. This scholarship is designed for students who identify as women and are enrolled full-time in a laboratory medicine program at RMIT University. The scholarship recognizes and supports students who can demonstrate financial hardship, academic ability, and active community involvement. Recipients must be passionate about pursuing a career in laboratory medicine and demonstrate interpersonal communication and leadership skills. Preference is given to applicants with a current regional or rural residence or who have moved from a regional or rural area to Melbourne to study this degree. The scholarship may be extended for an additional year based on demonstrated academic performance and a positive recommendation from the academic head of the RMIT Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Laboratory Medicine) program.
