Gail Verleysen Bursary

The Gail Verleysen Bursary was established in November 2021 by Family & Friends of Gail Verleysen to support students pursuing animal science education. This bursary is available to students enrolled full-time in their 1st or 2nd year of the Animal Science Technology program with a Beef major at Lakeland College. The award is specifically designated for students who are past or present members of 4-H, demonstrating a commitment to agricultural youth development. Recipients are selected based on demonstrated financial need and maintenance of satisfactory academic standing. The award includes both a belt buckle and a monetary gift of variable value.
