Galebreaker Scholarship (with one year work placement)

The Galebreaker Scholarship is open to all 2nd year BSc and 1st year FdSc students studying a livestock related degree at Harper Adams University, who are interested in a career in understanding how optimum environmental conditions promote healthy livestock production. A placement year as a Ventilation and Animal Welfare Analyst with Galebreaker must be suitable for the course area. The scholarship provides a significant contribution towards education of £4,500, employment with Galebreaker during the placement year, and potential opportunities for further funding in the scholar's final academic year or even permanent employment opportunities at Galebreaker upon completion of studies. This is a competitive award, which will be evaluated on merit of the submitted application, academic achievements to date, and interview. A condition of the scholarship is that recipients undertake their placement year with the sponsoring firm.
