About This Opportunity

The Gamma Omega Alumni Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon Scholarship is awarded to full-time students at Eastern Illinois University who are members of Inter-Fraternity Council organizations. This scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and community service involvement. Recipients must maintain at least a 3.00 GPA and be enrolled as sophomores, juniors, or seniors. Preference is given to members of the Inter-Fraternity Council Executive Board, and if Tau Kappa Epsilon is re-established on campus, the award must go to a TKE member. The scholarship requires a minimum 500-word essay describing leadership experience and considers financial need as a factor. Recipients may reapply in subsequent years if they continue to meet the eligibility criteria. The award is announced in the Spring semester and paid in the Fall semester.
