Gandhi Foundation Scholarship for Peace Studies

The Gandhi Foundation Scholarship for Peace Studies is awarded to a student with superior academic achievement who is either continuing in or graduating from any year of study in a Bachelor of Arts program at the University of Alberta. To qualify, students must have completed at least three Peace and Post-Conflict Studies Certificate courses. The selection is based on academic standing, recognizing students who have demonstrated excellence in their peace studies coursework. This scholarship is funded through an endowment established by the Mahatma Gandhi Canadian Foundation for World Peace, with matching support from the Faculty of Arts. Students are automatically considered for this award upon completion of their General Application through the university's scholarship portal.
