Gardening with Disabilities Trust Grant

The Gardening with Disabilities Trust provides grants to help individuals with disabilities return to gardening. This volunteer-run charity supports disabled gardeners by funding garden adaptations and equipment such as raised beds, polytunnels, greenhouses, tools, access pathways, plants, and compost. The grant aims to enable people with disabilities to continue or resume their gardening activities through practical modifications to their gardens. Applications are reviewed by experienced volunteer case-workers and approved at committee meetings held approximately every two months. The charity requires medical documentation of disability and quotations from suppliers, and payments are made directly to approved suppliers rather than to applicants. Recipients are required to provide receipts and photos showing how the grant was used.
