About this opportunity
Each year the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific (CAP) may offer up to two Garrurru Postgraduate Indigenous Scholarships. The scholarships are designed to address the underrepresentation of Indigenous Australians enrolled in programs and courses offered by CAP through the provision of a stipend to cover tuition fees and pastoral support to award recipients. Funding for this award has been provided by the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific and offered to Indigenous Australian postgraduate coursework students in the spirit of the College's ongoing commitment to practical reconciliation. Scholarship recipients receive a fee-waiver scholarship for a maximum of 96 units of courses undertaken in a postgraduate program in the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific, equivalent to an entire master's degree. The scholarship supports full-time or part-time study in diverse areas including Anthropology, Development, Archaeological Science, Asia Pacific Studies, Criminology, Diplomacy, Economics, Environment and Development, International Relations, Linguistics, National Security Policy, Policy and Governance, Political Science, Strategic Studies, and Translation.
