Gary and Tess Melvin Nursing Program Development Fund

The Gary and Tess Melvin Nursing Program Development Fund provides scholarship support for students majoring in Nursing who are enrolled in the RN to BSN program at Eastern Illinois University. This scholarship is available to both full-time and part-time nursing students who demonstrate good academic standing. The fund was established to support nursing program development and help students advance their nursing education from registered nurse status to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Recipients must maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA and submit a one-page essay outlining their professional goals as part of the application process. This award is typically awarded in the Spring semester and disbursed in the Fall semester.
