Gary Smith Vikings Hockey Award

The Gary Smith Vikings Hockey Award is a scholarship awarded to undergraduate students at the University of Alberta's Augustana Faculty who are members of the Augustana Vikings hockey team. This award recognizes student-athletes who demonstrate satisfactory academic standing combined with excellence in their sport. Selection criteria include level of excellence and/or potential to develop in hockey, demonstrated leadership qualities, embodiment of team spirit, and academic standing. The award is funded annually by Gary Smith and supports students enrolled in any year of their undergraduate degree program at Augustana Faculty.
