About This Opportunity

This travel grant supports research within gastroenterology, specifically for clinical observation visits or research stays at international clinics. The fund provides financial support for physicians who are members of the Swedish Society of Medicine (SLS) or its member organizations to travel abroad for professional development and research purposes. The grant historically has awarded up to 32,000 SEK per recipient. Applications are accepted annually from December 1 to February 1, with decisions announced in late June. The travel must begin no earlier than September 1 of the application year, and recipients must submit both scientific and financial reports after the trip.
