Gaylard R Turnquist Memorial Geology Award

The Gaylard R Turnquist Memorial Geology Award is awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing entering the third year of an undergraduate degree program in the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Alberta. The recipient will be selected on the basis of a demonstrated passion for Geology and the application of scientific discipline. Preference will be given to a student from rural Alberta. This award is funded through endowment by family and friends of Gaylard Turnquist and is administered through the Faculty of Science.
