About this opportunity
The Gayle Francis Dare to Dream Network Technology Scholarship supports students currently enrolled at or entering Tarrant County College who are pursuing degrees or certificates in Information Technology fields. The scholarship is designed to assist students studying Network Support, Cybersecurity, Information Technology Support, Cybersecurity Specialist, Ethical Hacking, or Convergence Technology β Information Assurance. This merit-based scholarship requires a minimum GPA of 2.75 and enrollment in at least 9 credit hours for the award period.
Preference is given to applicants with prior work experience or military service. The scholarship is renewable for the spring semester if the recipient maintains a minimum semester GPA of 2.75 and completes at least 9 credit hours in the fall semester. Students are automatically considered for this scholarship based on their completed General Application through the Tarrant County College Foundation Scholarships portal.
This opportunity provides financial support to help students advance their education in high-demand technology fields, particularly network technology and cybersecurity. The award amount varies and is determined on an individual basis. No separate application is required beyond the General Application.
