About this opportunity
This scholarship was established in 2023 to provide assistance to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students who have completed or will soon complete the Graduate Diploma of Indigenous Health Promotion, to achieve a Master of Public Health, Master of Global Health, or Master of Health Policy. The scholarship supports Indigenous students transitioning from the Graduate Diploma level to Masters-level study in public health fields at the University of Sydney. The scholarship provides financial support of either $8,201 per annum for up to 1 year or $9,300 per annum for up to 1.5 years, with an approximate total value of $9,300. Applicants must have obtained a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 65 or higher for the Graduate Diploma of Indigenous Health Program and must have an unconditional offer for one of the eligible Master's programs. The scholarship is designed to facilitate educational advancement for Indigenous students in health promotion and public health fields.
