About This Opportunity

The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences offers scholarships and research grants in chemistry to support doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers active at Swedish higher education institutions or other public research principals. Priority is given to researchers who have obtained their doctorate within the past seven years, with consideration for parental leave and similar deductible time. The funding supports project operating costs, international stays, or conference travel where research results are presented. Research grants of 250,000 SEK and above are awarded to the grant administrator (institution), with up to 25% permitted for overhead costs. Scholarships of up to 250,000 SEK are paid directly to the applicant. For 2025, a total of 1,667,000 Swedish kronor is available.
