About This Opportunity

The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences offers scholarships and research grants in mathematics to doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers who are active and employed at Swedish higher education institutions or other public research principals. Priority is given to researchers who obtained their doctorate within the past seven years, with deductions for parental leave considered. Research grants of 250,000 Swedish kronor and above are awarded to the grant administrator (institution) with up to 25% overhead costs permitted. Scholarships of up to 250,000 Swedish kronor may be paid directly to applicants. Funding can be used for project operating costs, international stays, or conference travel where applicants present their own research results. The program aims to support active mathematics research in Sweden and facilitate international collaboration and dissemination of research findings.
