About this opportunity

The General James H. Doolittle Scholarship Fund provides one or more scholarships of up to $5,000 to college juniors, seniors or graduate students pursuing a degree in aerospace science, aeronautical engineering or a related field at any accredited college or university in the United States or its possessions. The scholarship is named after General James H. Doolittle and is administered by Communities Foundation of Texas. Selection criteria includes scholastic achievement, letters of recommendation, essay response, school and community participation and financial need. Applicants must have completed at least 52 hours of college course work by the end of the academic semester in which they apply and must be citizens of the United States with a minimum 2.75 GPA. The scholarship aims to support students pursuing education in aerospace and aeronautical fields.
