About this opportunity
This fully funded 4-year doctoral studentship programme aims to train next generation researchers to harness human genetics, systems biology and artificial intelligence to discover therapeutic targets through data-driven approaches. The programme is designed to modernise drug development and push innovation in the field of therapeutic target discovery. Successful candidates will receive comprehensive funding including tuition fees for both Home and International students, a tax-free stipend at UKRI rates, and research support covering consumables, travel, conferences, and training. The programme brings together biological and biomedical sciences with quantitative and computational disciplines to create interdisciplinary researchers equipped with cutting-edge skills in genome data science and AI applications for drug discovery.
