George A. and Bada E. Young Memorial Scholarship

The George A. & Bada E. Young Scholarship is available to students currently enrolled or planning to enroll in Polk State College who are majoring in Business Administration (Management). The recipient must agree to read "Effective Management: Basic Principles and Practices" by George Young written as a guide to assist potential managers acquire the knowledge and skills inherent in the management function. This book is available in the Polk State College Library. Furthermore, the recipient must maintain a GPA of 2.50 or greater. This scholarship will pay for tuition and books, providing financial support to help students pursue their business management education.
