George and Marsha Ivany President's First and Best Scholarships

The George and Marsha Ivany President's First and Best Scholarships are prestigious entrance awards offered by the University of Saskatchewan to recognize exceptional academic achievement and leadership among incoming undergraduate students. These scholarships are valued at $40,000 per recipient, distributed as $10,000 per year over four years, provided renewal criteria are met. The program awards five scholarships annually to graduating Canadian high school students who are proceeding directly to university with a minimum high school average of 95%. Recipients must demonstrate strong leadership and contributions to their school and community life. The scholarships are renewable for up to three additional years, provided the recipient maintains an 80% average during their university studies. This award is part of the Best and Brightest Entrance Scholarships program at USask, designed to attract top-performing students to the university.
