About this opportunity
The George Crawford Legacy Trust Scholarship aims to give young people 'a leg up' in the world, and is offered to students at Harper Adams University in memory of agriculture student George Crawford. The scholarship is open to Second Year BSc/BEng/MEng, Final Year FdSC, BSc/BEng, and Year 4 MEng students from all course areas at Harper Adams University. Additionally, students who have completed the Foundation Year Programme at Harper Adams and are now in Year 1 of a full-time FdSc or Bachelor's level degree course are eligible to apply.
Preference is given to students who have completed the HAU Foundation Year Programme (formerly the Extended Foundation Degree/Extended Degree Programme), and also to students who are not in receipt of any other award at the time of interview. The successful scholarship recipient receives a one-off payment of up to £2,000, payable in two equal parts: half in March 2026 and the remaining balance in May 2026.
The scholarship honors the memory of George Crawford, an agriculture student, and aims to support students at various stages of their undergraduate education at Harper Adams University.
