George F. Schenk Scholarship Fund

The George F. Schenk Scholarship Fund was established in 2004 by the estate of Margaret T. Schenk, BA '40, BA '41 in honor of her husband, George F. Schenk. This scholarship supports newly admitted undergraduate students who are majoring in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at the University at Buffalo. The scholarship is specifically designated for students who have graduated from a high school in one of the eight counties of Western New York, demonstrating a commitment to supporting local students pursuing engineering education. The award provides up to $1,000 in scholarship funding to eligible recipients.
