About this opportunity
The George Harris Scholarship aims to recognise PhD candidates researching geology or geophysics for their achievements and contributions to the School of Geosciences at the University of Sydney. Established in 1973 by a bequest from George Harris, this postgraduate research scholarship is awarded based on academic merit, research activities and output, and contribution to teaching within the School. The scholarship is valued at $1,250 and is paid as a lump sum upon award. No application is required as eligible candidates will be automatically considered. Recipients must be enrolled in a PhD at the School of Geoscience and be researching geology or geophysics.
