George Henderson Scholarship

The George Henderson Scholarship supports students studying at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music to travel domestically or overseas to pursue their studies. This scholarship was established from the estate of George Wallace Henderson to provide financial support for students to further their musical education through travel. The scholarship value and duration are determined by the Dean of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and stipulated in the scholarship offer letter to successful recipients. The scholarship is awarded based on academic merit, performance presentation, and/or project proposal including projected budget. For postgraduate research applicants, research achievements and potential may also be considered. The scholarship value is paid in one lump sum payment upon proof of approved domestic or overseas travel.
