About this opportunity

The George Ira Hanson Fellowship was established in 1986 by the Estate of George Ira Hanson to assist students who are pursuing a graduate degree at the University of Regina, whose focus is on the protection and conservation of renewable resources, and the wise use and management of non-renewable resources. Funds are to support graduate students, and are to assist in professional development and/or conference-related expenses, such as registration fees, transportation and/or accommodation. The award will be used to support research projects that advance University of Regina graduate students' professional and academic development. The award will be presented to a University of Regina student who is participating in research involving sustainability such as resource use, management and conservation.
