George L. Cunningham, Jr. Chemistry Scholarship

The George L. Cunningham, Jr. Chemistry Scholarship is awarded to undergraduate Chemistry majors at Eastern Illinois University who demonstrate exceptional academic performance and promise in the field of chemistry. Preference is given to students whose performance in physical chemistry is outstanding. Recipients must have an excellent academic record and demonstrate exceptional promise for distinction in chemistry. At the time of selection, recipients must have at least one semester of full-time enrollment remaining in their BS in Chemistry program. Financial need is not a consideration for this award. The scholarship is renewable once, meaning recipients are eligible to apply for and receive the award one additional time provided they continue to meet the criteria. Awards are announced in the Spring Semester and paid in the Fall Semester.
