George Naoum Memorial Award in Construction Engineering

The George Naoum Memorial Award in Construction Engineering is awarded to a student with a minimum GPA of 3.0 entering the fourth year in the Faculty of Engineering and studying Construction Engineering at the University of Alberta. Selection is based on academic standing combined with involvement with engineering student activities, with preference given to a student with indicated financial need. If no qualified candidate entering fourth year can be found, those entering third year will be considered. This endowed award was established by the family and friends of the late George Naoum, Civil Engineer, Class of 1955 and proud alumnus of the University of Alberta, to honor his memory and support students pursuing construction engineering studies.
