About this opportunity
This scholarship was established through a bequest from the late George Trachy Pirouet who graduated from Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington with a Bachelor of Arts in English, Greek and History in 1963. The scholarship is designed to support students who undertake postgraduate study in Latin American studies, in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington. The successful recipient can choose to have the scholarship value applied towards tuition fees or received as a monthly stipend. Recipients are expected to act as ambassadors for the university and provide a copy of their thesis at the conclusion of their study.
