George Thomlison Award for Student-Athletes

The George Thomlison Award for Student-Athletes is awarded to student(s) with satisfactory academic standing entering, transferring, or continuing in an undergraduate or graduate program at the University of Alberta who are Golden Bear or Panda student-athlete(s). Selection is based on the level of excellence shown in the sport, the potential shown to develop as a significant contributor to the Golden Bears or Pandas program in the future, contributions made to their sport on and off the field, court, pool, track, or ice, and academic standing. This endowed award recognizes outstanding student-athletes who demonstrate both athletic excellence and academic achievement.
