George Turner Wilson Music Trust Scholarship - Junior Award

The George Turner Wilson Music Trust Scholarship - Junior Award was established in 1991, in memory of George Turner Wilson, to assist students in the development of their musical talent and education in Music at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland. The Award provides financial assistance to Year 13 students enrolled in the Young Scholars programme in Music with expenses associated with their enrolment. The scholarship is offered annually with the number of awards varying each year. Each award provides assistance up to $2,500 in total and has a tenure of one semester. This opportunity is designed to support talented young musicians in their musical development and educational pursuits at the secondary school level before they transition to university study.
