About this opportunity
The German Foundations Scholarship is a partial tuition scholarship offered by the Hertie School for students admitted to their Master of Public Policy, Master of International Affairs, or Master of Data Science for Public Policy programmes. Stipend holders of the German Begabtenförderungswerke and members of the Hertie Foundation's fellows & friends programme are guaranteed at least a 25% reduction in tuition fees upon admission. The scholarship recognizes existing fellowship recipients from 13 German foundations, including Avicenna, Cusanuswerk, Hanns Seidel Foundation, Hans Böckler Foundation, Evangelisches Studienwerk, Heinrich Böll Foundation, Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes, Rosa Luxemburg Foundation, Friedrich Naumann Foundation, Friedrich Ebert Foundation, Konrad Adenauer Foundation, Ernst Ludwig Ehrlich Studienwerk, and the Hertie Foundation's fellows & friends programme. Students who become stipend holders during their first year can receive the scholarship for their second year only. The scholarship aims to support talented graduate students who have already been recognized by German merit-based scholarship organizations, enabling them to pursue advanced studies in public policy, international affairs, or data science for public policy in Berlin.
