About this opportunity
The Gertrude Eichstaedt Scholarship is available to sophomores with a major in the College of Letters & Science at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. This scholarship recognizes academic excellence and leadership among undergraduate students. Eligibility criteria include a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA, a declared major in the College of Letters & Science, and demonstrated leadership as evidenced through extracurricular activity, volunteer work, or paid work. Recipients must be enrolled as full-time students. Students who have an up-to-date Panther Scholarship Portal General Application and the College of Letters & Science Scholarships and Awards Application will be considered, typically in spring each year. No additional or separate application is required beyond thoroughly completing these applications. Awards given in spring are for the following school year, so students graduating that same spring or summer are not eligible. The scholarship is funded by the Estate of Gertrude Eichstaedt.
