Ghosh Family Foundation Deeksha Indigenous Doctor of Medicine Scholarship

This Scholarship was established in 2016 to provide assistance to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students studying medicine. The scholarship supports Indigenous students enrolled full-time in a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Sydney who can demonstrate financial need. The scholarship is valued at $6,000 per annum and is tenable for four years, paid in two equal instalments after the census date of each semester. Recipients must maintain satisfactory academic performance and provide an annual progress report to the donor outlining their progression in the Medical Program by the end of November each year. The scholarship has been donated by the Ghosh Family Foundation.
