About this opportunity
The Gibson Energy Diversity Scholarship is offered annually to two female continuing undergraduate students. One award is designated for a student enrolled in the 2nd year of the Schulich School of Engineering majoring in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering. The second award is for a student enrolled in the 2nd year of the Haskayne School of Business with a concentration in Finance, Accounting, or Risk Management & Insurance. The scholarship is awarded based on academic merit and recognition of extra-curricular activities that demonstrate leadership, innovation, or diversity. Recipients must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents. Award recipients receive a $2,500 scholarship and gain access to an all-expenses paid opportunity to participate in the Women in Finance, Operations and Engineering development program at Gibson Energy. This professional development program includes attending a Board of Directors meeting and engaging with Gibson's Executive Leadership Team. Participants will also have the opportunity to be considered for a paid summer position with the company, providing valuable industry experience and networking opportunities.
