Gibson-Sykora Postgraduate Research Scholarship

University of St Andrews Original Source

About This Opportunity

The Gibson-Sykora Postgraduate Research Scholarship is available to entrant postgraduate research students with Polish nationality at the University of St Andrews. The Gibson-Sykora Trust was established in 1988 specifically to support Polish students at the University of St Andrews. This scholarship is based partly on financial need and partly on academic merit. The award covers at least one full tuition fee scholarship for the full duration of the postgraduate research course during which tuition fees are applicable. If full funding for tuition fees has been secured through alternate means, all or part of the Gibson-Sykora award may be converted to maintenance support in some circumstances. The scholarship is available to students pursuing MPhil, PhD, MSc(Res), MSt(Res), EngD or MFA programmes across all schools and departments at the University of St Andrews, with no subject restrictions. Recipients must be either Polish nationals or domiciled in Poland, and the award excludes continuation and extension periods.
