About this opportunity
This scholarship is designed to encourage and assist high achieving Indigenous Australian students who are experiencing financial hardship to pursue a Juris Doctor at the University of Western Australia. The scholarship provides financial support of approximately $25,000 total to enable Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to undertake full-time postgraduate legal studies. The program aims to increase Indigenous representation in the legal profession by removing financial barriers to legal education. Recipients must be domestic students who are commencing their Juris Doctor degree course at UWA and demonstrate both academic excellence and financial need.
