Gladys and Keith Walden Scholarship

The Gladys and Keith Walden Scholarship is awarded to graduating seniors from Cumberland Unit #77 High School who have applied and been accepted to Eastern Illinois University. Financial need is a primary consideration, with preference given to students demonstrating the greatest financial need. The scholarship is designed to support incoming freshmen and continuing sophomores, with awards typically distributed to at least one student at each level when earnings are available. The scholarship is presented annually at the Cumberland Unit #77 High School Awards Night and is selected in the Spring Semester for payment in the following Fall Semester.
