About This Opportunity
The Glenn and Barbara White Award is awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing enrolled in any year of an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Engineering or the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Alberta. Selection is based on academic standing and demonstrated leadership, community engagement, volunteerism and/or other contributions to helping others. This endowed award was established by Jacqueline Corbett in honour of her mother and father, both proud University of Alberta Alumni (Glenn White, Faculty of Engineering 1960 and Barbara (née Hemsing) White, Faculty of Nursing 1960) who have given generously of their time and talents in service of others.
